Easy to hold and use, the SportDiver Ultra offers a large print button and control buttons on the back for easy operation, even with diving gloves. Snorkellers and divers can get more creative with their photos or video recordings by using advanced camera settings*. Adjust zoom, exposure (EV), auto\/manual focus, white balance, hue, lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode and video stabilisation (on available phone models)*.<\/p>\n
The SportDiver Ultra housing includes the free SportDiver app; unlike other smartphone housing apps, there are no annoying in-app purchases or ads. You easily switch between photo and video mode. The SportDiver app makes use of your phone's camera technology that is specific to each phone model*. The app supports current and previous operating system versions, the app is updated according to new operating system versions.<\/p>\n
The app playback mode displays photos and videos in full size with a vertical thumbnail strip, making it easy to find your images. Videos are played automatically when selected. All files are also saved to the phone's movie roll. The SportDiver Ultra casing automatically connects to your smartphone and the SportDiver app via Bluetooth\u00ae Low Energy (LE) 5 wireless technology. There are no cables or buttons touching the phone and power consumption is extremely low for both the phone and the housing, which is powered by two AAA batteries that last for more than 50 hours of continuous use.<\/p>\n
For better image results, the SportDiver Ultra comes with a removable underwater colour correction filter, which restores natural underwater colours. The red filter can be easily attached or removed underwater and features a safety lanyard to prevent loss. The SportDiver Ultra housing comes with seven 1\/4-20 tripod mounts that can be fitted to any lamp or flex connect trays with standard tripod threads, such as SeaLife's range of Sea Dragon underwater photo\/video lamps.<\/p>\n
For phone safety and protection, the SportDiver Ultra has a sturdy spring and rubber grip tabs that keep the smartphone securely in place and provide shock protection. The SportDiver Ultra has \"Dual Leak Alarms\", including an internal moisture alarm and a vacuum pressure alarm that alerts the diver with on-screen alerts, audio and LED signals in the unlikely event that the waterproof seal is compromised and there is loss of pressure in the case or moisture is detected. The SportDiver Ultra's door is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock seal that easily and securely locks the waterproof door. To prevent interior fogging due to residual moisture, the SportDiver Ultra uses the anti-fogging \"Moisture Muncher\" capsule that prevents fogging and internal condensation.<\/p>\n
